Virgil van Dijk insists his debut season with Scottish champions Celtic is panning out fairly well.
The Hoops are out of both the League Cup and Scottish Cup but are yet to be beaten in 24 Scottish Premier League fixtures which augurs very well for a tilt at a third-straight title.
Dutch centre-back van Dijk, who joined from FC Groningen in the summer, admits it was a disappointment to lose to Aberdeen in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on the weekend but suggests that won't put a dampener on his first season at Parkhead.
"It feels very good to be unbeaten in the league so far and I'm very proud of it," he told Celtic View.
"I think the whole team should be proud. It's a big team performance to do this and also a personal achievement for me too because I've never experienced this before in my life so I'm very happy.
"You hope that when you come to a club like Celtic that you can do well. You have something in mind, you hope that it goes to plan and so far for me, winning games and breaking records means it has, so I'm happy."
