Mathieu Debuchy has hailed new club Arsenal as 'one of the biggest in the whole world' following his exit from Newcastle United.
The 28-year old France international has joined the Gunners on a long-term deal, believed to be worth around £12million, and is excited about making the Emirates Stadium his new home after two years in England's north east.
"I'm very proud to be joining a great club like Arsenal and to wear its colours, it's one of the biggest clubs in the whole world," former Lille defender Debuchy told Arsenal's official website.
"I'm looking forward to working with Arsene Wenger and to helping the team build on last season's FA Cup success.
"Playing again in the Champions League is a big excitement for me and I will do my best to help Arsenal compete for trophies."
