Ipswich Town striker Michael Chopra was confronted by a debt collector - on the training pitch - it has been revealed.
The Sun reports former Newcastle United and Sunderland striker Chopra has been confronted by a thug at Ipswich's training ground demanding cash to pay up alleged gambling debts.
The man, posing as an autograph-hunter, threatened the striker, 27, who came clean about his addiction last week.
A source at the Championship club said: "Chopra has cleared off his debts and is starting from a clean state."
