Seattle Sounders fullback DeAndre Yedlin admits a move to Tottenham in January will depend on getting a Latvian passport.
The USA international was due to join Spurs in June, but there is a push to bring forward the deal.
He said: "I'm working on getting a Latvian passport.
"If that goes through then January is definitely very possible."
