DeAndre Yedlin enjoyed Tottenham's post-season tour.

The USA fullback was given two starts by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

"It's been a great chance to bond with the team, to see a different side to the players and get to see different cities and cultures," Yedlin told the Spurs website.

"I never thought I'd be in Sydney this time of year. It was really enjoyable to be out here and great to play in both matches.

"There was a real sense of excitement in the crowds at both matches, it took me back to the feeling we had playing the World Cup in Brazil last summer. It was special.

"It's been an interesting first few months here for me and I see it as a very positive time. Obviously I came here to play but I came to learn as well and these six months have been great, I've really learnt a lot already."
