Arsenal have been linked with a move for the son of former Premier League striker Dean Windass.
21-year-old Josh Windass currently plies his trade for League Two outfit Accrington Stanley, and is regarded as one of the best young prospects outside of the Premier
League.
The Mirror is reporting Arsenal are in pole position to seal a deal for the youngster, after Arsene Wenger watched him play in the FA Cup last week, a match in which Windass scored.
The midfielder will be out of contract in the summer and could agree a move before the end of the season.
