Chelsea striker Fernando Torres saw red in today's derby at Tottenham.
The Spaniard had turned in a powerful performance, particularly against Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen and was sent off on 80 minutes over claims from ref Mike Dean of a stray elbow.
However, replays showed Torres' arm was nowhere near Vertonghen's face when they clashed. The Spaniard's initial booking also was questionable, with Dean handing the striker a yellow for a claimed trip, though again there was little in the incident.
As Torres walked from the field, he was consoled by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who put an arm around the striker and gave him some words of encouragement before sending him down the tunnel.
