Daniele de Rossi remains non-committal over his new contract at AS Roma.

The Giallorossi have been locked in negotiations with the midfielder and his agent for many months and his current deal expires in June, so he could leave as a free agent in the summer.

"We are working on it and when we've finished then we'll make it public," commented De Rossi after last night's match with Catania was rained off.

"Months ago I said that I'd be the first to come here in front of the cameras and explain my decision, as I owe that to the fans. I don't like soap operas and this is turning into one.

"Rest assured that at the right moment you'll know everything."
