Tension at AS Roma spilled over into training yesterday.

Tuttosport says Roma coach Claudio Ranieri had to intervene as a row between Daniele de Rossi and Marco Borriello threatened to explode.

De Rossi was upset with Borriello, on-loan AC Milan, over his attitude in training yesterday and challenged him.

Ranieri was forced to step in to end the row before it became out of control.
