De Rosario thrilled to be back with Canada despite big loss to Denmark

Dwayne De Rosario was happy to get through just over an hour of game time for Canada on the weekend.

The DC United star, who has been sidelined since September with a knee injury, was back in the fold for the Canucks and despite a 4-0 loss to Denmark in Arizona was thrilled to be involved again.

"Thankfully, it's my first game back since September, so it feels good to be back out there," De Rosario said.

"It was still definitely a disappointing result as a competitor.

"Obviously, fitness for me [was a challenge]. Having two midfielders checking in and out of the space all game made it tough, but it was good. That's what I needed."
