Dwayne De Rosario will be hoping for a new and improved deal from Toronto FC officials.
The 31-year old attacking midfielder, who joined the Reds from Houston Dynamo in December 2008, may be seeking a better deal after his wish for designated player status was glanced away.
That mantle went to Julian de Guzman who recently signed with the team, but it is understood that the Canada international is after a better deal than his current situation.
When De Rosario crossed from Houston, he was under the impression he would become Toronto's designated player but in the end had to settle for a more reasonable deal.
