New York Red Bulls midfielder Dwayne De Rosario admits his return to the club is bittersweet after leaving the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The Canada national team could not get past the group stage at the tournament leaving the attacking midfielder to head back to New Jersey to prepare for this weekend's clash with the Portland Timbers.
"Definitely bittersweet," De Rosario said about his return. "A tournament like that, you want see how far you can get.
"Guys were happy to see me, I was happy to see them. You look at the locker room right now - a lot of guys are beat up. We need numbers.
"Right now, thankfully, I came out of the tournament healthy," De Rosario added. "Just have to monitor my body, play it smart. The big thing right now is the games."
