Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has assured fans they will buy this summer.
The Partenopei are on the verge of completing Ezequiel Lavezzi's sale to PSG and supporters are anxious about the team's competitiveness.
"We know how to strengthen the squad," insisted De Laurentiis on Radio Marte.
"Having secured Pandev, we don't need anyone else in attack, so that is not our priority. We will reinforce the defence, midfield and wings, that is the plan.
"As forwards we also have young talents like Lorenzo Insigne and Eduardo Vargas, so more arrivals would only create confusion in the locker room."
