Luuk de Jong has no regrets over his loan move to Newcastle United.

The Borussia Monchengladbach striker retains hope of signing permanently for the Toon.

De Jong said: "I just want to improve my game every game.

"That is why I love being here. I hope to be important for the team, and after this season I hope to stay. It's more physical here than in Germany and Holland."
