Nigel de Jong is keen to discuss a new contract with Manchester City.
The Holland midfielder is enjoying his time at City and appreciates the support he received earlier this season following his controversial tackle on Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa.
The News of the World says he now wants to finish his career at the club.
De Jong will open talks on a new contract this summer.
