Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman says teammate Leon Britton deserves an England call.
De Guzman believes Britton's game would suit international football.
"Leon is very technical, he's always passing and making it easy for our forwards," said de Guzman, who has enjoyed a breakthrough year with the Brazil-bound Netherlands in 2013.
"He makes sure we have that space and obviously on the defensive side he's great to have in front of the back four.
"He's always looking for the ball and is a great player to play with.
"I told him many times last season with the performances he was putting in I was surprised he hasn't got that call-up, so hopefully he will get it sooner rather than later."
