Jonathan de Guzman has reaffirmed hopes he is allowed to stay with Swansea City.

The midfielder is on-loan at Swansea from Villarreal.

"I did not think when Swansea approached," De Guzman said. "Everyone knows that I'm happy. We have not talked about it, but my ears are open when it comes to talks.

"It is my first choice to stay here."
