Jonathan de Guzman's agent is being blamed for the failure of the Napoli midfielder's move to Bournemouth.

Vincenzo Morabito acted as intermediary between the two clubs.

“I tried to mediate between them, but the move collapsed due to the arrogance of his agent," Morabito told Radio Marte.

“We often see some agents think they are the owners of the player, forgetting it's the club who buys his services.

“There was an agreement for a €1m loan plus option to buy for €5m, but they dragged in other non-existent offers from Hamburger SV and Olympique Marseille."
