De Gea willing to sign long-term Man Utd deal if...

David de Gea is prepared to sign a new long-term deal with Manchester United.

However, he wants to know if Jose Mourinho will be in charge of Manchester United next season before he signs a new contract, says the Mirror.

United have taken up their option to extend his current deal by one year until June 2020 but talks over a new agreement remain deadlocked.

Although De Gea is happy at Old Trafford and is prepared to commit his future to the Manchester giants, he would first like to see what direction the club is going to take.

The Spain international goalkeeper is keen to win titles and Champions Leagues — he has lifted just one Premier League crown since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

De Gea wants to see United challenge for the top honours again, like they did under Sir Alex Ferguson.
