Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea thanked fans for their support after a dramatic final day of the season.

De Gea kept another cleansheet for United at Sunderland, but it was Manchester City which finished as champions.

"Thank you to all the fans for your support.. We were very close, but the next year we'll come stronger!!" the Spaniard tweeted.
