Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea insists his new deal does not offer fresh motivation.

De Gea penned new terms last month after missing out on a move to Real Madrid.

He told Viasat Sport: "I have not needed any extra motivation and I felt no need to seek it.

"This club has always treated me very well and I will play on with my new contract.

"I'm very happy and hope we can win many titles in the meantime."
