Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea expects the club to handle Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement successfully.

De Gea has welcomed the appointment of new manager David Moyes.

He said: "Obviously there will be a change, he was the coach for many years, many titles and many joys. Now comes a new coach I think it will continue in the same line of Sir Alex and dynamics will be similar.

"Playing for United, one of the greatest clubs in the world, is always a source of pride to me. Every time I pull the shirt on, I'm pulling on the history of this club."
