De Gea describes Man Utd win over Liverpool as 'a great day to remember'

David De Gea rejoiced in Manchester United's triumph over arch enemies Liverpool on Sunday.

A brace from Juan Mata gave United a 2-1 win over the Reds in a dramatic contest at Anfield which saw Steven Gerrard sent off 43 seconds after gracing the pitch and Wayne Rooney miss a penalty in injury-time.

De Gea did not have a lot to do for once as United produced a sturdy defensive display, apart from Daniel Sturridge's 69th-minute goal, and was happy to share such a special moment with his teammates who are now looking good for a Champions League spot.
