Watford are convinced they've pulled off a coup in the capture of Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair.
Sinclair has joined Watford on a free transfer, though Liverpool will be due compensation.
Italian intermediary Roberto de Fanti told TMW: "He is one of the most promising strikers in the country, the England Under-19 striker.
"In his movement he's similar to Daniel Sturridge, now his former partner at Liverpool. Considering that usually English players in the internal market are the most expensive I think Watford's done a big deal, strengthened further by the fact that the club needed to broaden its base of homegrown players.
"The intention of the club is to see during the summer preseason if Sinclair has the right qualities to assist in attack immediately Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo."
