Gigi de Canio says he won't be leaving Lecce.

The coach offered his resignation on the weekend.

But yesterday he insisted: "Last night we cleared the air, talked it over and just as after the Cagliari game I saw the respect, admiration and all the rest that is important in a rapport with President and club.

"I also had a talk with the players and with all this in place I decided we could continue this adventure, which we started together over a year and a half ago.

"There was a debate with the President and once we clarified this issue, we decided to forget what happened at Cagliari."
