De Bruyne yet to hear from Chelsea about loan exit

Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne is yet to learn whether he will be allowed to move out on-loan in January.

The Daily Mail says De Bruyne has played only five minutes in the Premier League since August and is not central to Jose Mourinho's plans but is anxious to play regularly and keep his place in Belgium's World Cup team.

Bundesliga clubs Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen are also keen on the 22-year-old midfielder who performed well in Germany last season, on loan at Werder Bremen.

De Bruyne, signed from Genk for £7m almost two years ago, accepts his future is away from Stamford Bridge but would rather avoid another loan spell, which may leave Wolfsburg as his preferred destination.

Although they are going well in La Liga, Atletico have less appeal as De Bruyne does not want to find himself on the fringes again.
