De Bruyne refuses to give up on Chelsea career

Kevin de Bruyne is determined to make it at Chelsea.

The London Evening Standard says the 22-year-old is still committed to being a success at Chelsea and is determined to prove himself to manager Jose Mourinho.

De Bruyne faces stiff competition for a place in the first team with the club having a number of other attacking midfielders - Eden Hazard, Oscar, Juan Mata, Willian and Andre Schurrle - to choose from.

There is a possibility that he would consider going out on loan again in January should he not make an impression. But having had spells at Genk and Werder Bremen before finally being given a chance with Chelsea's first team this summer, he does not want to give up yet.
