De Bruyne MUST make Bayer Leverkusen move for Schurrle to go to Chelsea

Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne is set to move to Bayer Leverkusen as part of the Andre Schurrle deal.

The Daily Mail says Schurrle's £20million move to Stamford Bridge is set to be completed after De Bruyne was given a stark ultimatum by Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller.

De Bruyne appears to have a choice of three Bundesliga clubs, following offers from Borussia Dortmund, Leverkusen and Schalke, and is believed to have favoured Jurgen Klopp's Dortmund after they made it clear they wanted to sign him permanently for £15million.

But he was forced to think again after Voller held talks with Chelsea in London and De Bruyne's agent in Brussels and insisted the Schurrle deal hinged on Belgium's 21-year-old joining Leverkusen on loan next season.

Voller was confident De Bruyne would be joining them in a temporary move that will cost them £2million and, as a consequence, reduce Chelsea's outlay on Schurrle to £18million.
