Kevin de Bruyne has rejoined Chelsea's squad for their tour of the US.
Recalling the injury in Kuala Lumpur, he admits it was a relief when the club's medical department concluded he would not be out for long.
"I just remember I scored the goal, tripped and fell the other way," De Bruyne told chelseafc.com. "I felt pain in the ankle and my knee was blocked, so I wasn't too busy worrying about the goal, I was busy with my knee, but in the end it was okay.
"By the time I flew home it was less worrying, I knew there was no major damage, but just a little pain, and it was nice to see the rest of the squad back in London. I don't like to sit inside with the physios, I like to be outside training normally with the team."
