Kevin de Bruyne believes that a little bit of rest will do Manchester City players the world of good.
City have progressed in every competition this season, and that means their players have been playing in plenty of games since the season started in mid-August.
After a 1-1 draw in the Premier League at the weekend, City have a whole week between their next game, and de Bruyne says a few days off are exactly what the squad needs.
"This break will do us a lot of good," said the Belgian.
"I'm going away, it doesn't matter where! I've said it before – you feel great for 10 games, then you feel OK for 10 games, and then the rest, you feel like s**t.
"But we've got to do what we've got to do. We've only got 15 or 16 players available at the moment, so we need to get through it."
