Former Dutch midfielder Ronald de Boer says Ajax pair Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt are capable of playing for Barcelona.

De Boer played for both clubs and is well aware of talk of Barca trying to prise De Jong away from Ajax.

"De Jong? There is also Ligt!" exclaimed De Boer to Mundo Deportivo.

"He is also a great player. He is only 19 years old and he already seems to be 30.

"Both would be starters without problems in Barça."
