Levante coach Gianni de Biasi is unsure if Almeria wing-back Felipe Melo would be a good signing for Fiorentina.

"He is a midfielder who is physically strong and has good technique, but he does seem a little on the slow side to me," said De Biasi. "His vision is good though, but we shouldn't expect any tricks from him or wait for him to up the side's tempo during games.

"Tactically speaking he isn't a central midfielder or a trequartista, he's a half winger who is well suited to Almeria's 4-3-3 tactics.

"If I had to compare him to an Italian player then it would be the Massimo Donati who we saw in his last season at Atalanta."
