DC United signing Allsopp having visa issues

DC United recruit Danny Allsopp has not yet arrived in Washington due to visa issues.

The 31-year old striker signed with the MLS club on January 18 and was due to arrive on Monday but he has been unable to as of yet.

Allsopp made the surprise move to Qatar in September last year from A-League club Melbourne Victory but only lasted a few months with Al-Rayyan before deciding to pursue his career in the USA when the opportunity arose to join DC.
