DC United have completed the signing of former Manchester United prospect Floribert N'Galula.
The Democratic Republic of Congo-born defender/midfielder has joined DC from Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam after undergoing trials with English outfit Crewe Alexandra and closed-door sessions with his new club.
The 22-year old rose through the junior ranks at Belgian club Anderlecht before joining Manchester where he remained from 2003 until 2007 with the youth and reserve teams. He then joined Danish club Randers before moving to Rotterdam.
DC General Manager Dave Kasper said in a written statement: "We are very excited about the pedigree Flo brings to D.C. United. Flo impressed during his postseason trial with us and we feel he has the physical tools and versatility to be very successful in our league."
