DC United secure signature of Rapid Vienna's Boskovic

DC United have secured the services of Montenegrin midfielder Branko Boskovic.

The 29-year old joins from Austrian club Rapid Vienna and will be available for selection once his International Transfer Certificate clears and the FIFA transfer window opens on July 15.

DC general manager Dave Kasper was excited about the prospect of Boskovic, who made over 100 appearances for Rapid after joining in 2007.

"We are excited to have concluded a deal to bring Branko to D.C. United," said Kasper. "He is a very technical player who creates and scores goals from midfield positions. Branko has a tremendous amount of experience with several top clubs in Europe and at the national team level. We look forward to Branko's contributions to our club."
