DC United midfielder Danny Szetela will be out for up to six weeks after undergoing an operation on his right knee.

The 22-year olds surgery went well according to general manager Dave Kasper and he will begin rehab on his knee this week in a bid to be back in full training within six weeks.

"We're pleased with the results of Danny's surgery and are looking forward to his return to the field," said Kasper.
