DC United’s Emilio linked with former club Olimpia

Honduran paper La Tribuna has suggested that D.C. United striker Luciano Emilio could make a return to Olimpia.

The 30-year old Brazilian striker has been with DC since January 2007, winning the Golden Boot that season for most goals in the league and the MLS MVP as United captured the Supporters’ Shield in just his first season in the USA.

Emilio has been United’s leading scorer since he arrived but is now being linked with a return to the Honduran outfit where has already had two stints in 2004 and 2005.
