DC United have declined the options of a trio of players following the 2013 MLS season.
Forwards Lionard Pajoy, Carlos Ruiz and midfielder Marcelo Saragosa have all been released by the Washington club with the latter two eligible for the MLS Re-Entry Draft.
"We would like to thank Lio, Marcelo and Carlos for their service to the club, and we wish them the best of luck in the future," said DC United General Manager Dave Kasper.
32-year old Colombian striker Pajoy made 32 appearances for DC after joining from Philadelphia Union in 2012, 34-year old Guatemalan Ruiz played 13 times after arriving from Veracruz and 31-year old Brazilian Saragosa appeared in 24 matches since February 2012.
