Dwayne De Rosario's performance on the weekend has been praised by DC United president Kevin Payne.
The Canadian midfielder netted a hat-trick in his side's 3-3 draw with former club Toronto FC and Payne said it was one of the best individual showings he had ever seen.
"That was one of the best performances I've ever seen here, not just in a DC United uniform, but any uniform," he said.
De Rosario netted his fourth, fifth and sixth goals in just his sixth appearance for DC after joining from New York Red Bulls in late June - he now has nine goals for the season.
