DC United pondering Indonesia trip

DC United are believed to be considering a postseason visit to Indonesia.

The Washington club, owned by Jakarta-based businessman Erick Thohir, could travel to south east Asia for friendlies in early December.

The Washington Post suggests that DC are 'exploring the possibility of a postseason trip to Indonesia for two or three friendlies'.

It is believed that Thohir is looking for DC to play abroad every offseason in a bid to boost the clubs brand around the world.
