According to reports, DC United co-owner Erick Thohir has held talks with current Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti.
It is believed that there has been talk of a minority stake with Thohir having a view toward a majority share of the Nerazzurri in a few years.
Moratti is apparently seeking help with the development of a new stadium and may call on the Indonesian businessman who has an investment with NBA side Philadelphia 76ers.
Thohir is prepared to purchase around 51% of Moratti's share in the Italian club after an initial agreement regarding minority shareholding has been struck.
