DC United legend Moreno to play in Bolivia

Jamie Moreno will take a year out of retirement to play in his homeland of Bolivia according to eldeber.com.

The 37-year old former DC United star ended his MLS career at the start of this year to take up a youth academy role with the Washington club but will now play with Deportivo Warnes in Santa Cruz.

Moreno retired as Major League Soccer's leading goalscorer but has now been displaced to second after Columbus Crew's Jeff Cunningham broke his record a few weeks ago.

He has had an extensive playing career which really kicked off when he signed with Middlesbrough in 1994 before moving on to DC where had a return loan to Boro and a one-year spell with MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls) in 2003.
