DC United great Moreno targeting MLS coaching job

DC United legend Jamie Moreno is determined to become a MLS head coach.

The 39-year old Bolivian is currently in charge of the DC U23s side but will end his tenure with the Washington outfit at the end of the 2013 season in order to follow his dreams.

"Unfortunately it's my last year here with the U-23s," Moreno told CSN Washington.

"I'm pretty much done because I want to move on, too. I want to see what's out there and I want to see what else I can do to achieve my goals, which is to become an MLS head coach one day."

The former Middlesbrough forward retired as a DC player in 2010 after appearing in 340 MLS matches (fifth most in history), scoring 133 MLS goals (second most in history) and providing 102 assists (fifth most in history).
