Official DC United Blog 'Behind The Badge', has reported that DC United have signed midfielder Andrew Jacobson pending receipt of his international transfer certificate. Having spent a season with Lorient in France, Jacobson has returned to America and joined the team in D.C. for the start of pre-season.

"We are excited that Andrew is on board at D.C. United," said United General Manager Dave Kasper of Jacobson. "He is a versatile two-way midfielder that has great technical ability and his size and work rate afford our team several options within the midfield."
