DC United have released goalkeeper Josh Wicks.
Wicks was acquired by United from the L.A. Galaxy last year in exchange for a conditional draft pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
"We would like to thank Josh for his contributions to D.C. United and wish him the best of luck in the future," said United General Manager Dave Kasper.
Wicks secured the number one spot for United last year after a heavy rotation of goalkeepers early in the season.
