DC United have released goalkeeper Andrew Quinn.

Chase Harrison has been signed to cover the injured Bill Hamid, with former Rangers trialist Quinn being released.

Quinn, who has missed almost the entire season after knee surgery in the spring, will continue to practice with the club. Harrison was drafted by Real Salt Lake in 2006 and has been with Richmond, Crystal Palace Baltimore, Harrisburg, Portland and Rochester in the lower tiers.
