DC United have concerns over the playing future of midfielder Ben Olsen. DC management want to keep Olsen involved, though his ankle problems are hindering his progress.

The Washington Post says if Olsen is unable to resume his playing career, United would consider offering him a front office job and perhaps create a technical director position that would work under GM Dave Kasper and with Coach Tom Soehn.
