DC United continue search for head coach

DC United will continue its search for a head coach to replace Tom Soehn who withdrew from the race recently.

It is believed that former Kansas City Wizards mentor Curt Onalfo and current New York Red Bulls interim coach Richie Williams have already held discussions with DCU but the club will interview other potential candidates.

Two names that have popped up are University of Akron coach Caleb Porter and out of contract Chicago Fire lead Denis Hamlett who is on the verge of guiding hid side into the MLS Cup final.

It is unsure what path DCU will take as general manager Dave Kasper said the club would not comment on any coaching speculation.

Caleb Porter? How could an MLS club consider such a young pup as that guy? Give him a couple more years, and he may have the experience and credentials for such a move. And the way DCU have been playing in recent years, they may be back for another stab in a couple years.
