DC United general manager Dave Kasper has revealed that the club will soon be finalising a preseason tour of Indonesia.
The Washington club will head to South East Asia in December as part of owner Erick Thohir's plans to expand the brand globally, however, Kasper says a working relationship with Italian giants Inter Milan may have to wait. Thohir recently acquired a majority shareholder in the Serie A club.
"I am sure in the coming months we will have those discussions. I wouldn't anticipate anything [of a formal relationship] in the short term," he told the Washington Post.
Of the Indonesian tour, Kasper added: "It's pretty close to being finalized. Roughly the first 10 days of December. Two matches against clubs. We would look to take probably 22 players."
