DC United have announced the signing of midfielder John Thorrington after selecting him in the MLS Re-Entry Draft.
The 33-year old former Bayer Leverkusen, Huddersfield Town and Chicago Fire man heads to Washington after spending the past two years with Vancouver Whitecaps.
"We are happy to have reached an agreement with John, and are excited to add him into the strong foundation we have built here at D.C. United," said DC United general manager Dave Kasper.
"John will add another level of experience and leadership here with the club."
